Located off Euclid Street near the corner of Fifth Street in Santa Ana, Hue Kitchen is a cozy Central Vietnamese eatery specializing in beef noodle soup (bun bo hue). We didn't try this delicacy because we wanted to sample their other menu options including appetizers, rice dishes and beverages. Although the staff appeared to speak limited English, they were friendly and more than capable of providing an enjoyable dining experience. I tried one of the Hue Style Steamed Rice Cakes with Shrimp (Banh Beo Khay Hue) that my family ordered and it was quite the medley of ingredients atop a rice cake. I recommend topping with the included fish sauce and chili sauce for extra flavor. I personally ordered the Rotisserie Chicken Rice w/ House Special Sauce (Com Ga Roti Dac Biet), and I appreciate how crispy the chicken skin was and how fragrant the rice was. They also include cucumbers and pickled cabbage for a more balanced meal. I washed everything down with a refreshing strawberry sugarcane juice. They also include complimentary coconut pudding for dessert...oh yeah!

Best banh beo I have had outside of Hue in a while. Bun Bo hue is solid as long as you don’t compare to home cooked bun bo hue since would need a lot more lemongrass flavor. I like mine extra spicy like hue but not many eat that level of spicy so it is good for any spice level to eat. Service was nice and attentive. Nice free cold tofu dessert to refresh palate too. Overall will be coming back when craving my hometown food.

the new bun bo hue in town. food is good and atmosphere is very nice. this will be my new place for the best bun bo hue. also, banh beo is so good. my kids have two of those.

Very different yet delicious vietnamese delicacy. Wonderful experience. Price was reasonable. I highly recommend to anyone looking to try "Hue" Vietnamese food

Stopped by for lunch and loved it! We had a couple of appetizers and the bun bo hue and all were delicious. The hue food is very authentic. We loved that this was a small family owner business and the service was very good! :)

Nice, clean place with yummy foods. My kid loves the Banh Beo there, the portions were generous, will be back to try other dishes...

My favorite bun bo hue restaurant! Broth is light and delicious, comes non spicy and you can add the spicy sauce. Great place for family. The service is always really nice, efficient and fast. They also give free dau nanh dessert. Thank you!

This place bun bo Hue is legit. The banh beo is good too. They have option of bun Bo with just thinly sliced beef too. Must try !!!
